This fine example of Italianate style was built in 1850. The second-story arched window carry upward the effect achieved by the arched front door with its etched ruby glass sidelights. Brackets and all exterior woodwork are well proportioned and executed. Note the finely detailed half octagonal bay window on the south elevation. Between 1897 and 1909, the cupola was removed and the roof changed from slate to shingle.
